Pomquet Wastewater Treatment Plant Pomquet, Nova Scotia
		As part of a pollution control project with C.J. MacLellan and Associates in Antigonish, this 350,000 USgpd (130 m³/d) ABL-SBR wastewater treatment plant was commissioned in November 2002 to serve the small community of Pomquet. The plant was designed to operate over a wide range of flow rates to accommodate increases as residences and the local school connect to the collection system. Designed to operate with little operator attention the SBR is fully automated, and all settings and controls are accessible remotely by computer. The plant is currently consistently meeting all effluent targets. Total project value: $400,000.
