A luxury hotel resort located in Bermuda, where freshwater is scarce, required wastewater treatment. Re-use of the treated effluent for irrigation and toilet flushing was therefore one of the objectives of the design team. ABL, through a local representative, won the design-build contract for the collection system, modifications within the hotel, and a 120,000 USgpd (450 m³/d) SBR plant complete with chlorine disinfection, dechlorination, water tinting and storage for re-use.

First commissioned in 2002, this plant is currently undergoing modifications related to expansion of the resort and addition of a golf course, requiring irrigation. The plant employs SCADA technology, allowing process changes and monitoring to be performed remotely. Total project value $1.2 million US.
