| Springhill Water Treatability Pilot Study Springhill, Nova Scotia | ||
|---|---|---|
In March and April 2001, ABL, in conjunction with Rawdon Technologies employed the Rawdon Technologies mobile Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) pilot plant for a one-week pilot testing program conducted in Springhill at the municipal booster pumping station. The pilot plant treated surface water drawn from the existing municipal supply in order to verify the applicability of the DAF water treatment process to this particular water supply. While water was being treated, data and design information was being collected by the operator and logged by computer. The results of the pilot study indicated that treatment of the Springhill raw water supply with DAF would meet regulatory requirements set out by Guidelines for Canadian Drinking Water Quality. | |
